  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by mixing sliced strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. For the dough, combine flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl; add cold butter until crumbly. Gradually mix in cold water until combined.
  3. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling out to about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Cut rectangles from the dough and fill half with strawberry filling; fold over and seal edges with a fork.
