  • 2 (8 ounce) blocks halloumi cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • black pepper, to taste
  • extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and toss in the cubed halloumi until coated.
  3. In another bowl, combine Panko bread crumbs, parmesan, sesame seeds, paprika, and black pepper.
  4. Coat each piece of halloumi in the breadcrumb mixture then arrange them on the baking sheet without crowding.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 10-12 minutes; flip and bake another 10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Mix honey with red pepper flakes for the drizzle and serve over warm bites.
