  • 10 cups water
  • 1 whole yellow onion
  • 2 green onions or 1 Korean leek
  • 2 thick slices ginger
  • 1/2 medium radish, quartered into thin slices
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine beef short ribs and water. Add onion, green onions or leek, ginger, and optional green onion roots.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to low and let simmer for 90 minutes.
