  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced strawberries with brown sugar and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  4. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish. Spread the strawberry filling evenly on top and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over it.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
