  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup green peas, frozen
  • Black pepper, to season

Instructions

  1. Dice chicken thighs into 1-inch pieces; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sear chicken pieces until browned (4-5 minutes).
  3. Transfer seared chicken to a slow cooker; sprinkle flour, thyme, rosemary, and salt on top.
  4. Add garlic, onion, carrots, potatoes; pour in chicken broth and add bay leaf.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Stir in frozen peas and milk; cook on high for an additional 10-15 minutes until warmed through.
