  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat. Season the scallops with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and whisk in lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
