  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pretzels
  • 15 soft caramels (cut in half)
  • 1 tbsp coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together cold butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until just combined.
  3. Gradually add flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; mix until combined.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips and pretzels. Insert caramel pieces into dough balls formed from about two tablespoons of dough.
  5. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 8-12 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle warm cookies with sea salt before cooling on a rack.
