  • 1 28oz can San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes
  • 48oz chicken broth
  • 2 14.5oz cans of cannellini beans
  • 4oz imported turkey slices, diced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1lb box of ditalini pasta (Barilla brand)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water and cook ditalini pasta until al dente (6-7 minutes). Drain.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté diced onions until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and turkey slices, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in cannellini beans and their juice; bring to a low boil.
  5. Process the tomatoes and add to the pot along with chicken broth; boil again.
  6. Season with pepper and simmer for 15 minutes before serving.
