  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (1.5 ounce) Milky Way Midnight bar, roughly chopped
  • 1 (1.5 ounce) Milky Way bar, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, combine cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until firm.
  5. While baking, prepare the caramel by combining sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and water in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened. Mix in butter and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Layer caramel over the partially baked brownies, then beat cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth; spread over caramel layer.
  7. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheesecake is set.
  8. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours; cut into squares when ready to serve.
