  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 12 ounces milk chocolate, melted
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, for finishing
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  2. Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt until combined.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into pumpkin shapes using cookie cutters. Freeze the cut-out cookies for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake cookies for 8-12 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Allow cookies to cool slightly before brushing with melted butter and sprinkling with cinnamon sugar.
  6. Assemble by spreading melted chocolate on half the cookies and topping with the decorated halves.
