  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) great northern beans, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup ditalini pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tsp basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic until tender.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in kidney beans, great northern beans, crushed tomatoes, and tomato sauce.
  4. Pour in beef broth and mix well.
  5. Season with basil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil; add ditalini pasta. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes until pasta is cooked through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
