  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 gallon softened ice cream (any flavor)
  • 16 oz chocolate wafers
  • 1½ cups chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, egg whites, vanilla, salt, melted butter, cocoa powder, and flour in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Preheat the waffle cone maker and cook the batter for about 40-45 seconds until golden. Cool the cones on a rack.
  3. Softly stir ice cream until consistent. Fill cooled cones with ice cream and freeze briefly.
  4. Melt chocolate wafers, dip taco edges into chocolate, then into chopped peanuts.
  5. Return finished tacos to the freezer until ready to serve.
