  • 4 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

Instructions

  2. Once bubbling after 1-2 minutes, reduce heat to medium-low.
  3. Cook for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy; stir occasionally to avoid burning.
  4. In a small bowl, mix dried minced onion, red pepper flakes, kosher salt, chili powder, and paprika.
  5. Strain the hot garlic mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into another bowl.
  6. Once cooled (after about 20-30 minutes), add crispy garlic and shallots back into the infused oil mixture.
  7. Transfer the finished Garlic Chili Oil into a clean jar with a tight lid for storage.
