  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened at room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups light green melting wafers
  • ½ cup dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 1½ tablespoons crisco shortening
  • Black sprinkles (long not round)
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Small candy eyes

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreos, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  2. Use a cookie scoop to portion the mixture into equal balls, then shape them into squares and place on parchment-lined cookie sheets.
  3. Chill the squares for about 2 hours until firm.
  4. Melt the light green candy melts with crisco shortening in short bursts in the microwave until smooth.
  5. Coat each chilled square in the green chocolate and place back on the cookie sheet.
  6. Decorate with black sprinkles for hair, add candy eyes, and insert pretzel sticks as bolts.
  7. Pipe facial features using melted dark chocolate.
  8. Chill again for 30 minutes before serving.
