  • ÂĽ cup sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 â…“ cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ÂĽ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • Âľ cup assorted chocolate candies (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9-inch pie plate with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Mix in both sugars until combined, then add vanilla and egg; stir until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the butter mixture until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and half of the candies; reserve the rest for topping.
  5. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pie plate and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Once out of the oven, press remaining candies onto the top while warm and allow it to cool before slicing.
