  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Easter mini eggs (Cadbury or Lindt)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 or a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add one large egg and one teaspoon of vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
  4. Gradually fold in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Then fold in milk chocolate chips and mini eggs.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Optionally, add extra mini eggs on top.
  6. Bake for about 18–22 minutes or until edges are golden but the center is slightly soft.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
