  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil gluten-free farfalle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Season chicken with this mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown; cook covered on low heat for an additional 10–12 minutes until cooked through (165°F).
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet; add butter and melt completely.
  5. Stir in dry shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; simmer for one minute.
  6. Add gluten-free flour and mix well before pouring in chicken broth and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
  7. Gradually add shredded Parmesan cheese while stirring until melted.
  8. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce; add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  9. Slice chicken and fold it into the pasta mixture gently before serving.
