  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 10 oz bowtie pasta
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and half the butter over medium-high heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden brown on both sides; remove from skillet.
  3. Lower the heat and add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet; cook until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in cheeses until melted and smooth; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, adding chicken back into the mixture. Simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
