  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 (20 oz) can apple pie filling (diced)
  • 1 1/2 cups toffee chips (divided)
  • 1 1/4 cups caramel sauce (divided)
  • 34 cups whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, blend sugars, melted butter, and vegetable oil until smooth. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla; whisk until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients and milk until smooth.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared dish; layer with apple pie filling and sprinkle with 1 cup of toffee chips. Top with remaining batter.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While hot, poke holes across the top and pour over 1 cup of caramel sauce.
  8. Cool completely before topping with whipped cream, extra caramel sauce, and remaining toffee chips.
