  • 1 1/2 lbs ripe tomatoes (34 medium), sliced 1/4” thick
  • 1216 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced 1/4” thick
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves (approximately 1/3 cup)
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Layer the tomato slices on a serving platter.
  2. Interleave mozzarella slices between the tomatoes.
