  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

  1. Warm the milk until lukewarm. In a bowl, mix it with softened butter and sugar; stir in eggs.
  2. In another bowl, combine bread flour, instant dry yeast, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a cloth for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. For the filling, mix softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
  6. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle, spread with filling, cut into strips, twist them together, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush with beaten egg and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
